Benzoyl peroxide（BPO） is the most widely used initiator for polymerization reactions. It is mainly used as a monomer polymerization initiator for polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated polyesters, polyacrylates, etc. It can also be used as a crosslinking agent for polyethylene. Used as the initiator and crosslinking agent for PVC, polyacrylonitrile, acrylic ester, vinyl acetate solvent polymerization, chloroprene rubber, SBS and methyl methacrylate graft polymerization, unsaturated polyester resin curing, organic glass adhesive, etc. Used as a vulcanizing agent and crosslinking agent for silicone rubber and fluororubber in the rubber industry.
