Indian packaging solution provider ACG Worldwide is set to invest Rs4bn ($72m) in order to establish a new manufacturing plant at Pithampur, Indore in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
The company is setting up its new plant in a phased manner. Phase I and phase II productions are expected to begin from July 2013 and May - June 2014 respectively, expresspharmaonline.com reported.
ACG will install 24 new capsule filling machines and phase I will see the installation of three to four machines in the facility.
With regard to manpower, the company plans to employ 160 people for the phase I and will add 120 people in phase II.
