Audi has commenced the production of its flagship Audi TT Roadster at the Audi Hungaria (Hungary) facility in Gyor.
The new automobile factory previously produced three other models, which includes A3 Sedan, TT Coupe and A3 Cabriolet.
AUDI AG board of management member for production Dr. Hubert Waltl said: "Gyor became the first Audi plant outside Germany 21 years ago; that was a decisive step taken by the company in its development into an international group."
"The site's success story shows that the decision was right."
The new two-seater car will feature a virtual cockpit along with a new display and operating system to provide infotainment.
Audi TT Roadster is expected to be available in three engine options including 2.0-liter TFSI engine capable of producing 230 PS, 2.0-liter TDI engine that can produce 184 PS and 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine that can produce 310 PS.
