Brazil's Ministry of International Trade and Industry has announced that it has terminated its antidumping duty investigation regarding flat rolled product imports from the Russian Federation.
The investigation regarding flat rolled products of iron or non alloy steel, hot rolled, not clad, plated or coated from Australia, China, South Africa, South Korea, Ukraine and Russia was initiated on May 3 2012. This investigation was requested by the Brazilian enterprise Usinas Siderúrgicas de Minas Gerais SA.
Following arguments presented by the Russian side, Brazil has eliminated Russia from the list of countries for which this investigation is carried out. The products subject to investigation are classified under items 7208.51.00 and 7208.52.00 of Brazil’s Harmonized System.
